GENDARMERIE SPORTS FORCE
The Command of The Gendarmerie Sports Force was founded on 01 June 1944 under the name of Gendarmerie Guardian Force. it carried out its activities in Ankara until 31 August 1982 and following the foundation of Armed Forces Sport Force; it went on working in Çanakkale and then after the abolition of Armed Forces Sports Force it again started to carry out its activities in 1989.
The Command of the Gendarmerie Sports Force has carried out its activities since 1989 in Ankara /Güvercinlik and since 07 February 2000 it has carried out its activities in The Command of Schools, Beytepe.
The Gendarmerie Sports Force takes part in international sport activities together with the sport activities in the country.
THE SPORTS ACTIVITIES OF THE GENDARMERİE SPORT FORCE IN THE COUNTRY (FEDERATION AND ARMED FORCES)
Firing, athleticism, football, wrestling, handball, boxing, basketball, chess and volleyball are the sport activities of the Gendarmerie Sports Force. The Gendarmerie Sports Force joins the Turkish Championship Tournament and Ieagues organized by the Federation.

In 1995, 1996,1997,1998 the boxing team,
In 1990 in the Ieagues, in 1992 and 1999, in the Armed Forces Championship the wresting team became the champion.
THE INTERNATIONAL SPORTS ACTIVITIES OF THE GENDARMERIE SPORT FORCE
The Gendarmerie Sports Force has taken part in the sport activities organized by International Military Sports Council. In 1992, 1993 and 1994 it joined wresting championship; in 1995 it joined firing championship, in 1996 it took part in box and wrestling and 1997 boxing, wrestling and cross-country championship and in 1999 and in 2000 it took part in boxing, handball and cross-country championships. Besides, it can join the sport activities organized by the FIEP.
